At the top there is a warning bar informing you that the browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari etc.) is trying to open an Active X program. Select "Allow", "Permit" or "Yes" and the program will run normally. You may need to do this each time the program is opened the first time, but not for each page.

Why isn't there help or instructions in my first language?

[Top]

English For All is used by people with many different first languages, so it would be very hard to provide help and instructions in so many languages. Also, most teachers want their students to learn and practice English and they prefer that their students learn to read the instructions in English. There is a word translator on the site to help translate English words into other languages and we will soon be adding a link to an English Dictionary.

How do I translate a word from English into my first language?

[Top]

Use the translator from Google.com: in the main menu bar at the top of the pages click on the 'Go!' Go! button next to "Translate a Word". Type the English word into the first box, select the language you want from the dropdown list. The translated word will appear in the box to the right.
