Help when You Get Hurt

It is important to know your rights and that protect you as an employee.

For example, worker's compensation insurance can protect you in four ways:

1. When you get hurt on the job, it pays for the ambulance, hospital, medication, time-off from work and other related costs.
2. It pays for rehabilitation, or care that helps you get well.
3. It pays for new job training in case of permanent injuries.
4. It also pays for costs related to accidental death.
